the experience at metropol hotel was simply wretched. my bed creaked like an old ship, and the staff’s apathy was astounding. i expected at least a complimentary gesture for my troubles, but clearly that’s too much to ask. also, breakfast was a tragic excuse for a meal. nearly convinced myself to give a good review, but just couldn’t deal with it.
